How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Mechanical Project Manager

    Location: Bradford
    Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + car / car allowance and package
    Company: Mechanically biased MEP Contractor

    A mechanically biased MEP Contractor based in Bradford is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

    The company delivers mechanical and MEP projects across the UK, with individual project values up to around £2m. They are looking for a commercially strong Mechanical Project Manager who can take ownership of projects, deal directly with clients and manage the full delivery process from design implementation through to completion.

    This is a client-facing role and would suit someone who is confident managing mechanical building services projects, controlling costs, protecting margin and taking full P&L responsibility.

    The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical building services background, ideally gained with a mechanical or MEP contractor. You should be comfortable managing projects up to around £2m, working closely with clients, subcontractors, internal teams and design partners.

    Good design implementation experience is important, as you will be expected to understand technical information, coordinate drawings and ensure that the design is properly translated into a successful site delivery.

    You must also be willing to travel to projects across the UK as required.

    Candidate Requirements

    * Mechanical building services background

    * Project management experience with a mechanical or MEP contractor

    * P&L responsibility and strong commercial awareness

    * Client-facing experience

    * Good design implementation / technical coordination experience

    * Willingness to travel across the UK

    In return, the company is offering a salary of £55,000 – £65,000, plus car / car allowance and company package
