How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) - Retrofit Programme

    Location: Hillingdon

    Salary: Up to £32,000 

    Contract: Permanent

    We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a retrofit programme based in Hillingdon.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RLO to support the delivery of energy efficiency and retrofit works within occupied social housing properties. You will be the key point of contact for residents, ensuring they are fully informed throughout the programme and receive a high standard of customer care.

    Key Responsibilities

    Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the retrofit programme.
    Communicating works schedules, access arrangements, and project updates.
    Carrying out resident consultations, home visits, and pre-start meetings.
    Managing resident expectations and resolving any queries or complaints.
    Working closely with site teams to coordinate access and ensure works run smoothly.
    Supporting vulnerable residents and ensuring appropriate measures are in place.
    Maintaining accurate records of resident communications and project progress.
    Attending site and client meetings, providing feedback on resident concerns.
    Promoting high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the programme.
    Skills & Experience

    Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, or Customer Liaison Officer.
    Experience working on retrofit, SHDF, planned maintenance, decarbonisation, or social housing projects is highly desirable.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and internal management systems.
    Full UK driving licence.
    A proactive, customer-focused approach.
