An ambitious and high-achieving secondary school in South London is seeking a talented and passionate English Teacher to join its successful English department on a maternity cover basis from September 2026 until April 2027.

The Role
Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of reading and writing.
Contribute to a collaborative and successful English department.
Support students of all abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes.

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification recognised by UK ENIC.
Has the ability to deliver outstanding English lessons across the secondary age range.
Demonstrates high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring young people.

£37870.00 - £56154.00 per year
