Location: Littleborough (Rochdale)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm | Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
On behalf of our client based in Littleborough, we are recruiting a number of Manufacturing, Machine and General Operatives to join their busy production team with immediate starts available.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company that values its employees, provides full training, and offers genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.
The Role
Successful candidates will work as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team, carrying out a variety of production and machine operating duties to support the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities :
Operating production machinery safely and efficiently (full training provided)
Loading and unloading machinery
Assembly of products using hand and power tools
Sanding, finishing and quality checking products
Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
Following production schedules and work instructions
Carrying out manual handling and general operative duties
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
Supporting colleagues across different production departments when required
About You
We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude who enjoy hands-on work.
Previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous, although not essential:
Manufacturing
Production
Machine Operating
Assembly
Warehouse
General Operative work
Factory or Industrial environments
We also welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in labouring, construction, mechanics, joinery, engineering or other practical, hands-on roles.
You should:
Be reliable and punctual
Have a good work ethic
Be comfortable carrying out manual and physical tasks
Be willing to learn new skills
Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Have a strong awareness of health and safety
