Slinger – Crewe Water Project
Kilnbridge is looking for experienced Slingers to join our team on a major water infrastructure project in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity for a Slinger to work with a leading specialist engineering and construction contractor on a busy project, offering competitive rates, consistent hours, and overtime opportunities. Duration: 4 Months+
Pay Rate: £21-£22 per hour
Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities
* Safely sling and signal lifting operations in accordance with project specifications.
* Direct crane operators using approved hand and radio signals.
* Ensure loads are correctly attached, balanced, and lifted safely.
* Read and interpret lifting plans, technical drawings, and site specifications.
* Work collaboratively with site teams to meet programme deadlines.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality on site.
* Deliver work expected from an experienced Slinger on a major infrastructure project.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience as a Slinger.
* CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification.
* Experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or water infrastructure projects.
* Admirable Requirement – United Utilities Passport.
* Previous experience working as a Slinger on infrastructure projects is advantageous.
* Demonstrable ability to perform the duties of a Slinger safely and efficiently.
