How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Payroll Specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping and modernising payroll operations across a complex, multi-country environment.

This is not a traditional payroll operations role. Instead, you will act as a subject matter expert and change leader, driving process improvements, system enhancements, and transformation initiatives within the payroll function. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design scalable, efficient, and future-ready payroll solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of best-in-class payroll processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and automation
Identify opportunities to enhance payroll through technology, including AI and digital tools
Deliver end-to-end change initiatives within payroll environments
Implement new processes, systems, and integrations to improve operational effectiveness
Analyse current workflows and redesign for optimal performance
Support and lead strategic payroll projects, including system implementations and transitions
Contribute to organisational change initiatives impacting payroll
Provide insight and recommendations to support long-term payroll strategy
Partner with HR, Finance, and wider business stakeholders to align payroll processes with business needs
     About You

Proven background in payroll within a complex organisation
Strong experience delivering process improvement and change initiatives within payroll functions
Demonstrable experience implementing new ways of working and driving transformation
Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both operational and leadership levels
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
Ready to make a lasting impact on how payroll operates at scale? If you bring a blend of payroll expertise and transformation experience, this is your chance to drive meaningful change. Apply today
