How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Water Softener Engineer or Water Treatment Engineer

    £35,000 - £42,000 + Company Van + Excellent Benefits

    Are you an experienced Water Softener Engineer or Water Treatment Engineer looking to join an established water treatment consultancy and progress within the business? - then our client could be your next career move.

    Due to several new contracts, they are currently looking for a Water Softener Engineer or Water Treatment Engineer to join the team be offered sector training where required and play a key part in the growth of the division.

    To apply for the role, successful applicants will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing water softeners as this will form a large part of the role.

    Other duties for the Water Softener Engineer or Water Treatment Engineer will include:

    * Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial water softeners.

    * Installing commercial water softening equipment.

    * Servicing and maintaining water treatment systems in a range on commercial sites in Central London

    * Carrying out basic water hygiene duties where required.

    * Maintaining accurate site logbooks.

    * Providing a professional service while building strong relationships with customers.

    Experience summary for the Water Softener Engineer or Water Treatment Engineer

    * Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial water softeners.

    * Experience using water treatment equipment.

    * Knowledge of chemical dosing or disinfection systems advantageous

    * Have an understanding of basic water hygiene tasks.

    * Full driving licence.

    * DBS Checked
