How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a unique opportunity to use your expertise to support children and young people with multi-sensory impairments, including deafblindness and complex communication needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and thrive in a nurturing educational environment.

Plan and deliver engaging, highly personalised teaching for individuals and small groups, ensuring every pupil can access learning and achieve meaningful progress.

Assess, monitor and review pupil progress, developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans and other personalised programmes.

Use your MQSI qualification to assess sensory needs and develop specialist teaching strategies that maximise pupils' communication, independence and participation.

Support the effective use of specialist equipment, assistive technology and environmental adaptations to remove barriers to learning.

Advise and support colleagues, families and external professionals on best practice in multi-sensory impairment and inclusive education.

Lead curriculum areas and contribute to school improvement, promoting outstanding teaching and learning across the school.

Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, families and multidisciplinary professionals to provide consistent, joined-up support.

Safeguard and promote the welfare, wellbeing and personal development of every pupil, maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.

Has experience supporting children and young people with multi-sensory impairment, SEND, autism and/or complex communication needs.

Is passionate about inclusive education and creating personalised learning experiences that enable every pupil to succeed.

Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Has excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.

Holds a full UK driving licence and is committed to ongoing professional development.
