How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A successful manufacturing business supplying complex products into highly regulated industries is currently seeking a Quality Engineer (PPAP) to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company investing in new projects, quality systems and continuous improvement activities. The successful professional will work across customer quality, APQP and NPI activities while supporting new product launches from concept through to production.

    Quality Engineer (PPAP) duties include -

    Lead APQP activities from project launch through to production approval.
    Prepare and submit PPAP documentation and customer approvals.
    Produce and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans and quality documentation.
    Support internal and external audits and maintain IATF 16949 compliance.
    Investigate quality concerns using 8D and other problem solving techniques.
    Act as the quality contact for customers, suppliers, and new projects.
    Support NPI activities, safe launches, and process improvements.We'd love to hear from you if you have the following -

    Previous experience within a Quality Engineer, NPI ,or PPAP focused role.
    Experience within automotive, manufacturing or metal processing environments.
    Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
