How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

HR Manager | Up to £60,000 + Great Benefits | Kidderminster (Initially onsite)
This is more than a HR role - it’s about leading people through change.
We’re partnering with a global organisation with a strong UK presence, looking for a hands-on HR Manager to support a business on a genuine transformation journey.
This is a safety-first, people-centric organisation where culture matters. With a long-standing workforce and deep-rooted values, the business is evolving - modernising its approach, strengthening engagement, and bringing people along the journey.
They’re looking for someone who can balance care and challenge - a true generalist who can build trust, influence stakeholders, and help shift mindsets in a respectful, inclusive way.
    The Opportunity:
You’ll take ownership of the HR function across a UK population of c.75 employees (manufacturing and distribution), supported by an HR Administrator/Executive Assistant.
This is a broad, operational HR role with real strategic impact, where you’ll be central to delivering cultural and organisational change, developing managers and building capability, driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and supporting business-critical people decisions.
You’ll work closely with both UK leadership and a wider European HR structure, giving you exposure to a truly international business.
    What you’ll be doing:
    * Leading day-to-day generalist HR delivery across the UK business
    * Partnering with leadership on transformation and change initiatives (including potential relocation, integration, and restructuring)
    * Acting as a trusted advisor on employee relations (low volume, complex where needed)
    * Driving improvements in engagement, retention, and culture
    * Coaching and developing line managers to build confidence and capability
    * Supporting wellbeing and engagement strategies aligned to a people-first approach
    * Managing payroll coordination via an external bureau (starters, leavers, changes, accuracy checks)
    * Producing and presenting monthly HR metrics and reporting (European scorecard - absence, sickness, key trends)
    * Reviewing and enhancing policies, procedures, and contracts
    * Supporting TUPE activity, organisational design, and workforce planning
    * Playing a key role in embedding hybrid working practices
    The environment:
This is a business with a long-tenured workforce, and a traditional environment where change needs to be handled sensitively.
There is a strong values base centred around trust, respect, humility and passion, and a genuine commitment to wellbeing and CSR, including mental health initiatives and community engagement.
It’s a place where relationships matter - and where you’ll need to win hearts and minds, not force change.
    What they’re looking for:
You’ll be an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys working close to the business.
    You’ll bring:
    * Proven experience of supporting transformation or cultural change
    * Strong employee relations expertise and sound judgement
    * Confidence coaching and influencing managers at all levels
    * Experience overseeing payroll processes and HR reporting and metrics
    * The ability to operate as a trusted, credible HR lead in a standalone capacity
    * A pragmatic, balanced approach, able to align people needs with business goals
Experience within manufacturing, logistics or operational environments would be a distinct advantage.
    Why apply?
    * Be part of a business that genuinely puts people and safety first
    * Play a key role in shaping and embedding cultural change
    * Work in a globally connected organisation with local impact
    * Take ownership of a varied, meaningful HR remit where you can make a real difference
What do you think? Does his role sound right up your street? If so, apply today to avoid disappointment.
