How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are currently looking for a Designer with experience of retail, POS or furniture design. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Produce accurate 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models for POS displays and retail fixtures.

    Develop designs from initial concept through to manufacture.

    Create production-ready drawing packs, including assembly details and component specifications.

    Ensure designs meet manufacturing, quality, and cost requirements.

    Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to resolve technical queries.

    Modify and improve existing designs where required.

    Maintain accurate project documentation and CAD files.

    Work to project deadlines while managing multiple design tasks.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

    Proven experience as a CAD Designer within the POS, retail display, shopfitting, or related industry.

    Proficiency in one or more CAD packages such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar.

    Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods.

    Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into practical engineering solutions.

    Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

    Desirable

    Experience designing displays using wood, metal, plastics, acrylics, or corrugated materials.

    Knowledge of sheet metal, CNC machining, laser cutting, injection moulding, or fabrication processes.

    Experience creating photorealistic renders or presentation visuals.

    Understanding of retail environments, merchandising principles, and customer experience.
