Warehouse Operative / Lead – Goods In & Dispatch

Hales Group are recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Operative / Lead to join a busy and growing operation in Beccles.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative ready to step up, especially someone with exposure to Goods In, dispatch processes, or warehouse compliance documentation.

You’ll take on a key role on the warehouse floor—leading by example, supporting daily operations, and stepping in to assist with Goods In coordination when required.

What you’ll be doing
Unloading deliveries and checking goods against documentation
Investigating and reporting discrepancies or damages
Organising stock and maintaining accurate labelling and scanning
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Supporting stock control and system updates using handheld scanners
Providing day-to-day support across Goods In, including delivery coordination
Helping guide and support colleagues on shift
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping What we’re looking for
Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Ideally some exposure to Goods In, compliance paperwork, or stock control processes
A reliable, proactive approach with the confidence to step up and take responsibility
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and team mindset
Forklift licences (Counterbalance, Reach, VNA, PPT) are an advantage but not essential Why this role?

Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Pay: £14.06 per hour
