The business is seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join a supportive and collaborative team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of tax services in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring all deadlines are met. The role involves building strong client relationships and providing high-quality tax planning, consultancy, and specialist advice.
The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of tax law and will meet with clients to gather information and explain options and their implications to our clients in simple terms.
The work undertaken as Tax Advisor is detailed and complex. The successful candidate will require knowledge in areas such as:
- Corporate Tax
- Inheritance Tax
- National Insurance
- Personal Tax
- Trusts and Estates
- VAT
With a wide range of clients, including large and small companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals, typical areas of the role will include:
- Advisory
- Project management
- Liaison with clients and solicitors
- Tax Planning
- Researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax legislation in both the UK and overseas
- Producing reports and presentations for clients
- Answering ad hoc questions and queries
Qualifications and Requirements:
•ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent level of expertise).
•Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
•Ability to explain complex tax legislation in clear terms.
•Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
•Strong negotiation and client relationship management.
•Commercial awareness and discretion with sensitive information.
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
•Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines.
