Job Title: Production Operative
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Full Time; Temporary Ongoing
Shifts: Option 1: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm; Option 2: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm; Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm
Location: Holsworthy
Responsibilities of the Production Operative:
Operate punch press machines to cut, shape, and form metal
Load materials into the machine and adjust to ensure accurate cutting and forming
Monitor the machine during operation to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
Lift, move and carry safely large and heavy pieces of metal
Adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations Requirements of the Production Operative:
Experience in a factory environment (metal works experience is advantageous
Performing quality checks on finished products
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Flexibility is essential
Able to carry and move heavy parts (up to 25 kg) Benefits of the Production Operative:
