How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

    Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
    Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire
    Daily Rate: £85.50 – £120 per day
    Contract: Full-time
    Start Date: ASAP

    We are currently seeking a dedicated, patient and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Radlett. This is a full-time opportunity to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop confidence and reach their full potential within a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
    Support teaching and learning under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
    Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
    Assist with behaviour management using positive and consistent approaches.
    Adapt support to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
    Build positive working relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
    Encourage pupils to develop independence, confidence and resilience throughout the school day.
    What We're Looking For:

    Previous experience supporting children with SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs, is desirable but not essential.
    A caring, patient and resilient approach.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
    An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
