In this role, you will deliver practical, hands on roofing training to learners working towards industry qualifications in slate and tiled roofing. There is no requirement to teach flat roofs or membrane systems. You will coach, mentor, and support learners in a workshop environment, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and safe working practices required to succeed in the roofing industry.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified roofer with at least 10 years of industry experience who is looking to move into a trainer role and pass on their knowledge.

The Role
* Full instructor training and teaching qualification support provided
* Delivering practical slate and tiled roofing training in a workshop environment

The Person
* Minimum 10 years' experience in slate and tiled roofing
* Strong hands on trade background
* Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent industry experience
* Desire to step away from full time site work and extend career longevity
* Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others
* Confident communicator with good organisational skills
* Willingness to complete teaching or instructor qualifications
* Committed to health and safety, safeguarding, and learner wellbeing
