We are looking for an experienced and proactive Construction Supervisor / Foreman to oversee the successful delivery of a £1 million Royal Mail depot refurbishment In Northampton.
This is a hands-on site management role requiring strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades to deliver the project safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
•Day-to-day supervision and management of all site activities.
•Coordinate and manage all subcontractors, including: Mechanical (HVAC and plumbing), Electrical, General building trades
•Ensure works are completed in accordance with the programme and project specifications.
•Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping on site.
•Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and subcontractors.
•Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities.
•Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
•Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
•Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS are adhered to.
•Manage site logistics, deliveries, and material coordination.
•Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting.
Requirements
•Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Foreman on refurbishment projects.
•Experience managing mechanical, electrical, and general building trades simultaneously.
•Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and coordination.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet programme deadlines.
•SMSTS qualification.
•CSCS Supervisor or Manager Card.
•First Aid at Work certification.
•Full UK driving licence (preferred).
