How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Work closely with project managers, commercial teams and site management to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
Support change management and programme impact assessments.
Attend planning, progress and client meetings, providing expert planning advice.
Promote planning best practice throughout the project and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    About You

    You will have:

Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner within a UK main contracting environment.
Excellent site-based planning experience on major construction projects.
Advanced knowledge and practical experience using Primavera P6.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programme management and project controls.
Ideally, experience working under NEC contracts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to planning and project delivery.
    What's on Offer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and an outstanding reputation for delivering complex construction projects.

    In return, you'll receive:

Salary up to £110,000 per annum
Company car or annual car allowance of £6,000
