As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of commercial HVAC systems across a varied range of client sites throughout London and the surrounding areas. You will work independently while being supported by an experienced engineering team, delivering high-quality maintenance services and ensuring client systems operate safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial HVAC systems
Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdown calls
Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs
Servicing and maintaining a range of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Completing accurate service reports and maintenance records
Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers when requiredYou’ll have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment, including:
VRV / VRF systems
Split and multi-split air conditioning systems
Heat pumps
Air Handling Units (AHUs)
Chillers
Associated HVAC plant and equipmentWe’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong technical background and a professional approach.
You’ll ideally have:
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Current F-Gas (2079) certification
Previous experience within commercial HVAC or building services maintenance
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working on VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, AHUs, and associated equipment
Full UK driving licence
