How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Consultant - Manchester - £35k to £45k OTE
    Manchester City Centre (St Peter's Square)
    £27,500 Basic + Uncapped Commission (10%-20%)
    Year 1 OTE: £35,000 - £45,000+

    Working Pattern
    Monday-Thursday office based (St Peter's Square)
    Friday working from home
    Hours
    Monday-Wednesday: 8:30am-6:00pm
    Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm
    Friday: 8:45am-4:30pm

    As we continue to grow following our third anniversary, we're looking to hire two ambitious Recruitment Consultants to join our Manchester office.
    No recruitment experience is required. If you have a sales background, enjoy speaking with people and want to build a long-term career with uncapped earning potential, we'd love to hear from you.
    You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship and genuine responsibility from day one.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and networking.
    * Build long-term relationships with candidates and clients.
    * Qualify candidates through telephone and video interviews.
    * Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to offer acceptance.
    * Write job adverts and candidate marketing campaigns.
    * Develop new business opportunities and support existing client relationships.
    * Maintain accurate CRM records and market intelligence.
    * Work towards weekly, monthly and quarterly targets.
    What We're Looking For
    * Previous sales experience (B2B, B2C, telesales, estate agency, automotive, retail, hospitality or similar).
    * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    * Confident speaking to people over the phone and via video.
    * Competitive, resilient and self-motivated.
    * Strong organisation and time management.
    * Professional attitude with a genuine desire to build a long-term career.
    Salary & Benefits
    * £27,500 basic salary.
    * Uncapped commission (10%-20% of fees generated).
