The Role

As an English Teacher, you'll inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that develop confident readers, thoughtful writers and articulate communicators. As an English Teacher, you'll create an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, challenged and empowered to achieve their full potential while fostering a genuine love of English Language and Literature.

We're looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Is a passionate English Teacher with a genuine love for English Language and Literature.
Delivers engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
Believes every student can succeed and is committed to raising achievement.
Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
Shares a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student well-being.
Welcomes applications from experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin their career as an English Teacher.
