How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Your new company
    A boutique family office specialising in the management of portfolios for family and charitable trusts, offering a highly personalised and relationship‑driven service. The firm works closely with trustees and beneficiaries to preserve and grow capital over the long term, with a disciplined and considered approach to investment strategy.
    Your new role
    This is a broad role, which includes supporting the management of a portfolio of family and charitable trusts. The role combines day-to-day administration with trust accounting and tax responsibilities, working closely with senior team members to ensure compliance, accuracy and high service levels for trustees and beneficiaries.
    Key Duties:

    Managing day-to-day trust administration, including payments, income distributions and maintaining accurate records
    Preparing trust accounts and supporting tax compliance, including income tax, CGT and IHT reporting
    Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, stockbrokers and other professional advisers, drafting correspondence as required
    Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, cashflows and income payments across trust portfolios
    Supporting wider trust operations, including beneficiary reporting, file management and ad hoc project workWhat you'll need to succeed

    Knowledge of trust accounting systems such as CCH (Trust Accounts, Central, Viztopia and Accounts Production) effectively, with any exposure to US tax considered advantageous
