Looking for a stable night shift role?We are currently recruiting Night Shift Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced distribution centre in Avonmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to secure long-term employment with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.
Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity whether you have previous warehouse experience or are looking to build a career in logistics.
The RoleAs a Night Shift Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Loading and unloading vehicles
Scanning and sorting parcels
Working within both chilled and ambient warehouse areas
Using a pump truck to move pallets when required
Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following all health and safety procedures
Working Environment This role involves working in both:
Chilled warehouse: 2°C to 8°C
Ambient warehouse: 15°C to 25°C
Please note: Due to the chilled environment, suitable warm clothing is recommended. Safety footwear is essential.
What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will be:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Able to stand and work for the majority of the shift
Comfortable working in both chilled and ambient environments
Able to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment
A team player with a positive attitude
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
Able to pass a criminal record check
Desirable
Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience
Basic computer skills, as additional training may be provided on warehouse systems, increasing opportunities for a permanent position
