How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Operations & Events Manager

    Global Fintech Events
    Fully Hybrid | UK based

    Are you an exceptional organiser who thrives on delivering polished, high-profile events?

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing international events business operating at the heart of the Fintech industry.

    You’ll play a key role in delivering a busy global programme of awards ceremonies, executive debates, industry dinners, roundtables and networking events across the UK, US and Middle East.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who loves detail, deadlines and making things happen.

    Job Scope

    As Operations & Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of the operational delivery of multiple events and awards programmes, working closely with sponsors, judges, venues, suppliers, speakers and senior industry stakeholders.

    You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving — timelines, entries, judging, guest lists, seating plans, sponsor deliverables, event platforms, AV, branding, logistics and on-site delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for:

    * Managing the operational delivery of awards programmes and live events

    * Coordinating executive debates, roundtables, dinners and networking events

    * Managing event timelines, suppliers, venues, production and AV partners

    * Overseeing guest lists, registrations, seating plans and attendee communications

    * Coordinating awards entries, judging processes and deadline management

    * Delivering sponsor benefits, branding, adverts and promotional materials

    * Supporting contracts, invoicing, reporting and general business operations

    * Attending events in the UK, US and Middle East to support on-site delivery

    What We’re Looking For

    Proven experience in events, awards, conferences, corporate hospitality or sponsor-led events is valued but equally, if you have a strong background in first-class organisation and project management skills, you will be very well suited to this role.

    In order to be successful, you will be :

    * Exceptionally organised

    * Calm under pressure

    * Detail-focused

    * Proactive and self-motivated

    * Confident dealing with sponsors, suppliers and senior stakeholders

    * Able to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball

    Experience with awards ceremonies, gala dinners, CRM or event platforms, sponsorship delivery or international events would be an advantage but is not esential.

    The role is fully hybrid, flexible and offers genuine scope for progression as the business continues to grow.

    The Bottom Line

    This role is all about organisation, ownership and delivery.

    If you’re the person who can keep multiple awards programmes, events, sponsors, suppliers and deadlines running smoothly — while making it all look effortless — this could be a great next move
