How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid working).
    The duration of the contract is 4 months.
    The pay rate on offer is £450 - £550 per day (via Umbrella agency).

    The client is a multinational high-street retailer.

    Role purpose
    Lead the marketing plans and campaigns for General Insurance, to deliver our brand, marketing and trading performance to accelerate financial services (FS) growth. Marketing Manager for insurance will define the marketing plan for Pet, Home and Travel Insurance and lead the execution and delivery of the marketing plan, liaising with Channel Owners to do so. This role is responsible for the marketing plans that deliver against our trading objectives for insurance products.

    Key accountabilities, responsibilities, and measures

    Design and deliver the Insurance annual marketing calendar of activity with channel owners to meet marketing and trading performance
    Craft compelling creative and content to support the growth of awareness, consideration and conversion across the marketing mix - with a creative expression that capture the essence of our brand and the new FS brand strategy.
    Set and agree clear activity KPIs, effectively monitoring and reporting on weekly trade / monthly performance meetings, include category and competitor insights
    Contribute to annual budget planning and tightly manage spend against the plan, managing the Month End process in regard to marketing cost for insurance plans
    Integrate Insurance marketing and plans across the FS and retail business with category adjacencies ensure XBU marketing opportunities are maximized
    Act as the primary marketing stakeholder for Insurance with channel leads and commercial colleagues in FS and marketing counterparts at our third party relationships
    Ensure all activity you lead adheres to financial promotions and compliance requirements and you sustain the required continuous professional learning
    Build relationships across the roster of agency partners including media, CRM and creative
    Contribute to the development of the Insurance marketing and commercial strategy developmentKey skills

    Experience working with financial services / insurance products
    Strong experience in campaign management
    Strong planning skillset and analytical thinker, able to translate insights into actionable marketing plans
    Track record of building and maintaining internal and external relationships and a strong communicator
    An eye for great creative and good attention to detail
