Our client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced "Bendi truck" /"pivot steer” forklift truck operator to join their team at a busy warehouse in Tameside.
The pay rate for this position is up to £19.15 per hour!
This is a full-time position with the following details:
Dukinfield // NIGHT shift // Sunday (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) // £19.15ph
In this role, you will play a key part in the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, and in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a valid, in date, uk "Bendi truck" / "pivot steer”,forklift licence from an external FLT training company , as well as at least 1 year experience in operating forklift trucks in a warehouse setting.
In addition to operating the forklift truck, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
Loading and unloading items from vehicles
Moving items within the warehouse
Organizing and stacking items on pallets
Ensuring that all safety regulations are followed
Cleaning and maintaining the forklift truck and other equipment
Collaborating with other team members to achieve warehouse targets
Experience as a team leader would be an advantage.
This is a temporary position, but for the right candidate, there is a possibility of a permanent contract. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, punctual, and has a positive attitude towards work. You will need to be physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
