How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

An established and growing luxury interiors business is looking to appoint a Technical Designer to join its bespoke kitchen design team in London.

This role would suit someone with strong technical design experience within bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, joinery or high-end residential interiors. You will be responsible for taking luxury kitchen concepts and turning them into fully resolved technical drawings, manufacturing information and installation documentation.

The role combines design awareness, technical accuracy, material knowledge and close coordination with sales designers, clients, architects, suppliers, production teams and installers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Produce detailed technical drawings, manufacturing packs and installation documentation for bespoke kitchen projects
    • Convert concept designs into accurate, buildable technical solutions while maintaining the design intent
    • Develop cabinetry layouts, joinery details, elevations and production drawings using CAD software
    • Coordinate appliance integration, lighting, stone, metalwork and specialist finishes with suppliers and subcontractors
    • Attend site surveys and verify measurements prior to production
    • Ensure designs are aligned with site conditions, technical constraints, ergonomics and building regulations
    • Work closely with sales designers, installation managers, order managers and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle
    • Resolve technical challenges relating to bespoke joinery, materials, tolerances and installation sequencing
    • Prepare specifications and production information for manufacture
    • Manage design revisions and maintain accurate project documentation
    • Support value engineering where required without compromising quality or design integrity

    Key Requirements:

    • Strong technical knowledge of bespoke cabinetry, joinery or luxury kitchen construction
    • Experience producing technical drawings and manufacturing information
    • Proficiency in CAD software such as Fusion, 3CAD, AutoCAD or similar
    • Good understanding of materials, hardware, detailing and manufacturing processes
    • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and interior design specifications
    • Experience working on high-value residential projects or luxury interiors
    • Knowledge of premium appliance integration would be beneficial
    • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving ability
    • Strong communication skills when working with clients, colleagues, suppliers and installation teams

This is a strong opportunity for a Technical Designer looking to work on bespoke luxury kitchen projects with a high-quality, design-led business
