Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a trusted advisor to the General Manager of the region on all HR related matters. In our journey to become an employer of choice, the HRBP is responsible for ensuring the smooth, compliant and efficient handling of any employee relations topics, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times and working with minimal supervision.
The UK business (CTC) of Convergint is based in London and supports a national business. Currently Convergint has some 210 employees in the UK, covering all sales & operational roles plus some roles in regional and global corporate functions. Convergint Europe has a significant growth agenda requiring transformation in all areas including HR.
- Partner with the Regional General Manager (GM) and CTC management on people related topics and actions, aligning to business strategy and supporting our journey to become an employer of choice, driving our Values & Beliefs.
- Advise and support Managers and Colleagues throughout the employee life cycle, from collaboration with the Europe wide talent acquisition team, onboarding, compensation reviews, talent and performance management, individual development plans, and ER cases as required action.
- Determine and recommend colleague relations practices necessary to establish a positive employment relationship and promote our company values and believes, as well as a high level of morale and motivation.
- Provide analysis and guidance on compensation and benefits decisions, including communication and enrollment, rewards and recognition programs. Support the HR Co-ordinator in the set up of efficient communication and administration processes.
- Analyse trends and metrics within region and develop HR solutions to support the business strategy in line with our company’s values and believes.
- Oversee the day-to-day needs of human resource support including ownership of HR policies, local HRIS requirements and payroll. Support the HR administrator in the definition of efficient processes, ensuring a smooth cooperation with other departments and external vendors as required.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of colleagues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required. As required, coordinate the communication with employee representatives.
- Partner with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.
- Participation in bids as required, providing information and advice (eg TUPE)
- Responsible for coordinating all employment related activities for acquisitions with the region including consultation of employee representatives, benefit and compensation analysis and all onboarding activities needed for integration.
- Champion for HR programs such as diversity and inclusion program, social medial strategy, or other special projects as required.
- Ensure operation of effective HR processes which maintain HR data integrity. Own the configuration of local Workday requirements, working with the Global HRIS team to make updates as required. Drive the adoption of colleague and manager self service.
- To support the organisation’s local Whistleblowing processes
- In collaboration with the Compliance team, update and maintain the organisation’s requirements in regard to people related ISO documentation of process, procedures, policies and forms.

Job Skills Requirements:
- Experienced HR Business Partner, able to work to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism
- Strong understanding of commercial dynamics and the commercial impact of people issues
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills

- Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Education Requirements:
- CIPD qualification (or qualified by experience) to level 5 with the potential to progress to level 7
- Degree qualified or qualified by experience
Experience Requirements:
Strong experience in HR, partnering senior leaders ideally in an international work environment
Experience of business transformation including OD, TUPE and M&A
