The roleWe are looking for a talented machine learning researcher and software engineer who can own product development from inception to deployment. You will be working as part of a small team of up to 10 people.
The working hours are flexible, but you will be expected to work from the London office at least 4 days a week. The start date is flexible — we have mid-July in mind.
What you'll do- Machine learning research, specifically on language model interpretability
- Building and maintaining ML tools in Python
- Oversee inference pipelines
- Software product development
- Experience in software engineering
- Ability to work independently
- Proven research skills
- Experience in DevOps
- Experience with standard Python frameworks — NumPy, PyTorch, Transformers
- Experience in model interpretability research (welcome but not required)
- Ownership and responsibility over the full lifecycle of product development
- Meaningful equity in an exciting startup
- Flexible, fast-paced and independent working
- Reasonable freedom in research and ability to publish findings
