How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

We're looking for an experienced HR professional with a passion for HR systems, process improvement and data-driven decision-making to join our People team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys improving the employee experience by optimising HR processes, developing efficient systems, and providing meaningful HR insight. You'll play a key role in enhancing our HR technology, supporting managers throughout the employee lifecycle, and helping shape a modern, efficient HR function.

Working closely with the HR team and managers across the business, you'll use your HR knowledge to streamline processes, improve compliance, develop reporting, and maximise the capability of our HR systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    HR Systems & Process Improvement

    • Manage and continually improve our HR systems, workflows and employee lifecycle processes.
    • Configure and enhance automated HR workflows, forms and approvals.
    • Support the integration and development of our HR system (PeopleHR) and Business Management System (BMS).
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
    • Continuously review HR processes to reduce manual administration and enhance the employee experience.

    HR Reporting & People Analytics

    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure GDPR compliance.
    • Produce regular HR dashboards and management reports covering headcount, absence, turnover, recruitment, training and performance.
    • Analyse people data to identify trends, provide insight and support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Support HR projects through accurate reporting and data analysis.

    Manager Support & Learning

    • Develop engaging HR guidance, training resources and digital learning content for managers.
    • Create practical tools that support managers in areas such as onboarding, performance management, probation and absence management.
    • Build and maintain a self-service HR knowledge library to improve manager capability and consistency.

    HR Compliance & Employee Lifecycle

    • Ensure key HR compliance activities are effectively monitored, including Right to Work, probation, mandatory training and policy acknowledgements.
    • Support policy updates, audits and document management.
    • Assist with onboarding, employee lifecycle administration and HR projects as required.

    About You

You'll already have experience working within an HR environment and enjoy finding smarter ways of working. You're comfortable using HR systems, interpreting HR data and improving processes that make a genuine difference to both managers and employees.

    Essential

    • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or currently working towards).
    • Previous experience within an HR Coordinator, HR Officer, HR Advisor or HR Systems role.
    • Good understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
    • Experience using HRIS systems such as PeopleHR, Access or similar.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and produce meaningful reports.
    • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
    • Confident communicating with managers and stakeholders across the business.

    Desirable

    • Experience creating HR dashboards and people metrics.
    • Experience developing HR guidance, training materials or e-learning content.
    • Interest in process improvement, automation and AI within HR.

    Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking HR team that is investing in technology, continuous improvement and the employee experience. You'll have the opportunity to influence how HR operates, contribute to meaningful projects, and help shape modern HR processes across the business.
