Job Title: Legal Secretary - Conveyancing

We are working with a well-established law firm looking to appoint a proactive and organised Legal Secretary to support a busy fee earner. This role is client-facing and offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of legal services, enabling fee earners to maximise their time on billable work.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, able to deal with clients sensitively and professionally, while managing a varied workload across administrative and legal support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Audio typing and preparing correspondence, legal documents, and reports from dictation
• Managing files, including opening and closing matters, and maintaining accurate records
• Handling telephone and email enquiries, liaising with clients and internal teams
• Supporting billing processes, financial administration, and payments
• General administrative support including document management, post handling, and reception cover
About You
• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience with document production, audio typing, and case management systems
• High attention to detail and strong IT proficiency
