Role – SNAM/NAM – UK Grocery/Retail
Location – Hybrid (commutable to central London)
Package – Circa 60-65k (just a guideline, can flex for right person), bonus, benefits etc
Stuck at NAM level and wondering if that’s just… it now? This might be your sideways step up.
If you’re in Grocery as a NAM/SNAM, you probably already know your job inside out. You know your retailers, your numbers, your plans. You hit target, you show up, you deliver.
And yet, somehow, promotion can still feel like it depends on someone above you deciding to leave the building.
Sometimes the problem isn’t performance. It’s structure.
And sometimes the solution isn’t waiting. It’s moving sideways into a business that is still building the ladder as it grows.
This is one of those businesses.
A fast-growing, eco-friendly, B Corp challenger brand that has already secured strong UK grocery distribution and is now stepping into a serious scale-up phase, with big growth plans across the UK and internationally.
They are looking for a Senior/National Account Manager to take full ownership of UK grocery.
Not “support”. Not “assist”. Own.
This role will grow into a Head of/Country Manager position.
You’ll work closely with the Global Sales Director and be right at the centre of driving retail performance, new listings, and channel growth. As the business scales, so will your role. This is very much a “get in early and grow with it” situation.
It will suit someone who has already worked in a start-up, SME or challenger brand. Someone who knows that grocery in those environments is not about layers, sign-offs and endless meetings. It’s about pace, judgement, and getting stuff done.
You’ll also need to really know UK grocery. Not just the theory. The reality. How to win space, build retailer relationships, and turn listings into meaningful growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning UK grocery performance end to end
- Growing existing accounts and unlocking new ones
- Building proper commercial plans that actually get used
- Driving listings and channel expansion
- Working closely with marketing, finance and ops to make things happen
This suits someone commercially sharp, slightly restless, and probably a bit bored of “steady growth”.
If you want a role where everything is already defined, this won’t be for you.
If you want a role where the business is still being built and you get to help shape what it becomes, it might be worth a conversation.
