Corporate Lawyer - Hong Kong Law

With the launch of our new London office, we are looking for a senior corporate lawyer to practise Hong Kong and international law. The role will suit an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual looking to transition from a role purely focused on client servicing to a role that blends client servicing with business development.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work alongside the Head of London and senior leadership in Hong Kong to build up the London office and service our clients. The practice will focus on corporate and commercial law matters, including M&A with particular focus on private equity and financial sector transactions, capital raising, fund formation, insolvency and restructuring and the provision of regulatory, employment and tax advice.

• Law degree
• 5 yrs PQE with no less than 3 years of experience in Hong Kong law matters
• International law firm experience is preferred
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English (essential) and Mandarin Chinese
• Pragmatism and commercial astuteness with an eye for detail
• Independence, reliability and strong executive management capabilities including the ability to organise and prioritise under time pressure
