How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Senior Professional Development Coordinator

    £48,000 | Liverpool Street | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Professional Development Coordinator to join a leading international law environment. This role sits within a collaborative Learning & Development function and will work closely with the Director of Professional Development (Europe & Asia Pacific), colleagues across the region, and a wide network of lawyers and business professionals.

You’ll play a key role in shaping, organising and delivering learning and professional development initiatives across Europe and APAC.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Coordinating a wide range of training programmes and development initiatives for legal and business teams across Europe and Asia Pacific.
    • Supporting the planning and delivery of the London Trainee Orientation and Trainee Skills Development Programmes, ensuring full compliance with SRA training and supervision requirements.
    • Monitoring and maintaining SRA training records for Trainee Solicitors.
    • Managing Continuing Competence documentation for England & Wales Solicitors and Registered Foreign Lawyers, producing reports and analysing compliance data through internal tracking systems.
    • Acting as the first point of contact for the Europe/APAC professional development inboxes, escalating queries when necessary.
    • Liaising with internal teams and regulatory bodies to ensure lawyers meet all relevant continuing professional education requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Working closely with the US-based CLE team to ensure CLE accreditation is secured for internal learning sessions.
    • Overseeing the Hong Kong Law Society CPD portal, coordinating CPD and RME credit applications for training programmes.
    • Gathering and analysing feedback for global and regional programmes, preparing summary insights and recommending improvements.
    • Using the firm’s learning management system for event registration, attendance tracking, reporting and online learning completions.
    • Managing end-to-end logistics for training and development activities — from presenter coordination to AV/IT support and meeting room setup.
    • Keeping internal systems and document management platforms accurate and up to date, ensuring all materials are filed correctly.
    • Supporting wider projects and ad-hoc initiatives to continuously enhance the firm’s professional development offering.

    What they’re Looking For

    • Experience in a professional development, L&D, HR, or legal training coordination role (legal sector experience highly advantageous).
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple programmes and deadlines.
    • Confident communicator who can build relationships across teams and regions.
    • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Familiarity with learning management systems and compliance tracking tools is beneficial.

If you're passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and want to grow your career in a global, people-focused environment, I’d love to hear from you.
