The Role
You will join a specialist pricing and underwriting team, applying advanced analytics to drive business performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing predictive models to improve pricing strategies and risk assessment
- Analysing complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and insights
- Exploring new data sources to enhance model performance and innovation
- Supporting the simulation of customer behaviour to inform pricing decisions
- Translating technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Collaborating with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and the wider analytics team
Your Skills and Experience
- A strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
- A minimum 2.1 degree from a leading university, ideally within the Russell Group
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong logical mindset
- Exposure to Python through academic projects, internships, or personal work
- A proactive attitude, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly
- An interest in applying data science to commercial and real-world challenges
