A leading manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to support site operations and drive a strong health, safety, and compliance culture across a busy production environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with health and safety experience who enjoys developing people, improving standards, and ensuring compliance across site operations.
The Role
You'll play a key role in maintaining training standards, supporting audits, reviewing procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and reviewing risk assessments and site procedures
* Conducting workplace inspections and compliance checks
* Supporting internal and external audits
* Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
* Delivering training sessions, inductions, and toolbox talks
* Managing training records and competency reviews
* Monitoring site hygiene and compliance standards
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
* Working collaboratively with operational teams to promote best practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* IOSH qualification (essential)
* Experience delivering training in a workplace environment
* Strong understanding of health and safety principles
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confidence working with employees across all levels of a business
Desirable experience:
* NEBOSH qualification
* Internal auditing experience
* Experience conducting risk assessments and investigations
* Manufacturing, production, agriculture, food, FMCG, logistics, or industrial experience
