How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    REPORTING

    Lead Photographer


    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Working within a creative studio team as Photographer on e-commerce still life product shoots for

    a leading high street retailer George.


    Please note this role is studio based, 5 days per week.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To shoot high quality still life photography at volume in accordance with the clients In

    House Style Guide.

    • Work alongside the stylist to work out the best composition for each product thus

    allowing shots to be taken quickly & efficiently but remaining a high creative standard.

    • Research current styles and trends within ecommerce photography for development

    and growth of the client’s brand and website.

    • Maintain a consistent and organised workflow, meet daily booked tasks, aiming to

    exceed targets and deadlines.

    • Prepare your working set, checking that all equipment is fully functional and correctly

    maintained.

    • Work independently without a Digi Op on naming, cropping, processing files, image

    selection and sharing of files with the retouch dept

    • To take an active interest in product knowledge & trade information.

    • Actively share best practices with the team.

    • Take direction from the senior members of the team and client. Confidently collaborate

    with the other team members to follow briefs and produce on brand work for e-commerce shoots.


    SKILLS

    • 2 – 4 year’s experience with a portfolio that demonstrates the applied techniques

    required for Ecommerce still life photography (composition, lighting, capture, and

    processing). Experience working with clothing and accessories is essential.

    • Be experienced working in a fast-paced environment, able to work well under

    pressure.

    • Previous experience in a professional studio photography environment.

    • Excellent knowledge of Capture One, various lighting environments, photography

    equipment and best practices/conventions for set safety.

    • Self-motivated but able to work within a very close-knit team.

    • Knowledge of Photoshop.

    • Experienced user of Canon camera systems and Profoto lighting.

    • To be able to work well under pressure and have a flexible attitude.
