Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in Peterborough to recruit a compassionate and dedicated BSL Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil who is Deaf.

What You'll Be Doing
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day using British Sign Language (BSL).
Adapt learning activities to ensure the pupil can fully engage in lessons.
Encourage independence, confidence and positive communication.
Support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school staff to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience using British Sign Language (BSL) in an educational or professional setting.
Has previous experience supporting children, ideally within a primary or SEND environment.
Is patient, empathetic and passionate about inclusive education.
Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Wants to make a meaningful impact on a child's learning and development.What You'll Receive
