Mechanical Estimator
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 + Benefits
As a Mechanical Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a wide range of Mechanical Building Services projects.
Working closely with the Commercial, Design and Operations teams, you'll play a key role in securing new business and supporting successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications.
- Produce quantity take-offs and cost plans.
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Review tender documentation and identify commercial risks.
- Develop value engineering solutions where appropriate.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
- Support the handover of successful tenders to the delivery team.
About You
- Experience working for an MEP or Building Services contractor.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
