How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Reports to Product Development Manager


    The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Product Development process delivers well designed, good quality products, on time and within the agreed price. It is to manage the administration surrounding the critical path and ensure suppliers adhere to the processes and standards in place.


    3 days a week in office (Paddington London)


    RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Support the Product Development Manager in the sample development process across multiple suppliers to ensure optimum efficiency of time, cost and standards.
    • Daily liaison with international manufacturers during the development cycle to ensure all details are communicated.
    • Creating all product feedback documents for every collection.
    • Support Product Development Manager in day to day management of cad sign off/input with suppliers, ensuring all details remain true to original aesthetics, are on brand and meet a set quality standard.
    • Responsible for cataloging all NPD samples and supporting the team design specification sheets.
    • Developing a good knowledge and understanding of each brands’ existing and new products in order to become a point of contact for other teams across the Company.
    • Responsible for organising and overseeing product photography and liaising with external suppliers.
    • Management of product information, upload and maintenance of all products to be logged onto our internal database.
    • Maintain commercial knowledge and understanding of industry trend insights.


    PERSONAL PROFILE


    • Previous product coordination / development experience is advantageous
    • Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing techniques is essential
    • Adobe Illustrator skills (Photoshop advantageous)
    • Highly organised, with an excellent level of attention to detail.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with adjacent teams, suppliers and freelance contractors.
    • Experience in a fast paced or small business is preferred but not essential.
