Owen Reed is looking for an exceptional Senior Legal PA to support the Corporate team at a top law firm in London. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Legal PA to provide high-level support to Partners and senior fee earners within a fast-paced Corporate practice. The successful Senior Legal PA will become a trusted member of the Legal Operations team, delivering proactive, first-class administrative and business support while contributing to an exceptional client experience.
Working Arrangement
This is a permanent hybrid position based in London, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
About the Role
As a Senior Legal PA supporting the Corporate team, you will provide comprehensive administrative, organisational and business support to Partners and senior fee earners. The Senior Legal PA will proactively manage complex workloads, coordinate international diaries, oversee matter administration and support financial and business development activities while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
The Senior Legal PA will work closely with Legal PAs, Business Administrators and specialist support teams to ensure matters progress efficiently, compliance requirements are met and clients receive an outstanding service. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Legal PA who enjoys taking ownership, working collaboratively and delivering excellence within a leading Corporate practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for Partners and senior fee earners, managing calls, emails, correspondence and meeting requests.
- Proactively manage complex international diaries across multiple time zones, ensuring effective scheduling and meeting preparation.
- Prepare meeting packs, background information, agendas and action points for client meetings.
- Manage expense claims and provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned fee earners.
- Support the full client and matter lifecycle, including new matter opening, compliance processes, conflict checks, CDD, KYC and engagement documentation.
- Ensure accurate electronic and hard copy filing while managing matter closure and archiving processes.
- Coordinate billing activities, WIP reporting, rate management and liaison with the billing and Credit Control teams.
- Monitor time recording, billing estimates, unpaid invoices and financial administration.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, preparing comprehensive itineraries and supporting travel approvals.
- Assist with client presentations, business development materials, CRM management and the organisation of client events.
- Delegate work effectively to Legal PAs, Business Administrators, Document Production and other specialist support teams.
- Promote collaboration across Legal Operations while supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous process improvements.
- Demonstrate flexibility by providing cover across Legal Operations teams when required.

About You
The ideal Senior Legal PA will be highly organised, proactive and experienced in supporting senior legal professionals within a corporate legal environment. You will possess exceptional attention to detail, outstanding communication skills and the confidence to manage multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional client service.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a senior legal administrative or Senior Legal PA role within a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal compliance, matter management and billing processes.
- Proven experience managing complex calendars across multiple time zones.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and business management systems.
- Experience using document management, billing, CRM and matter management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with Partners, clients and colleagues.
