How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    People & Payroll Administrator (Part-Time)


    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Payroll Administrator to support our People function across both the Battersea head office and Chelsea based retail teams. This s is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week) with flexibility around how the hours are structured across the week.

    Reporting to the People Director, with a close working relationship with the Finance team, this role blends people support with hands-on operational delivery across HR administration, payroll and employee experience.

    The brand is committed to creating responsibly and constantly strives to innovate to reduce its impact on the earth, while also using its platform to drive education and discussion around sustainability. Testament to this are projects such as I Am A Plastic Bag, The Universal Bag - a unique collaboration with supermarkets to rethink the reusable shopping bag, and Return to Nature, a collection of bags which are intended to biodegrade and compost at the end of their useful life. The work around sustainability continues, paying heed to the mantra, ‘progress, not perfection.’

    Anya launched the Village on Pont Street in London’s Chelsea in 2021. This is a community of neighbouring stores and a cafe. Ever evolving, it centres around the Village Hall, which hosts innovative concepts, collaborations and exhibitions, all of which are amplified digitally. These have included collaborations with Boots and Peanuts, as well as our renowned Christmas Grotto and Ice Cream Project.


    THE ROLE


    · Responsible for the administration and coordination of monthly payroll & pension for approximately 100 employees. Work closely with the Finance team to ensure payroll accuracy and deadlines are met

    · Support recruitment processes including CV acknowledgements, interview scheduling, preparation of offer documentation and onboarding paperwork, coordinating the in-house recruitment for our seasonal Grotto and Ice Cream Project experiences and ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience aligned with brand standards

    · Administration of all employee documentation, including contracts, new joiner onboarding, and leaver processes

    · Accurate maintenance of the HR & Payroll database (Moorepay) ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and internal standards including holiday records, sickness absence, maternity, paternity and adoption leave

    · Oversee HR records, conduct exit interviews and provide insights to support retention and engagement

    · Support initiatives that enhance employee experience and foster a positive workplace culture

    · Work with the People Director on day-to-day performance management, disciplinary processes and general employee relations matters

    · Provide administrative support for Annual Performance Appraisals and related processes

    · Administration for the annual work experience week

    · Support the Administration Director upholding statutory Health & Safety standards and checks


    ABOUT YOU


    · Previous experience in HR & Payroll administration

    · Confident with excel and handling data

    · Exceptional attention to detail with a highly organised and methodical approach

    · Professional, well-presented, and confident in communication

    · Approachable, empathetic and collaborative with a sense of humour

    · A self-starter with the ability to work independently with discretion
