How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About Us

At ConnexAI, we’re building the future of language technology. As one of the leading global AI data teams, we work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, linguistics, and human insight. Our global clients rely on us to deliver top-tier datasets for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Large Language Models (LLMs).

We’re a trusted data partner for model development, and our projects cover multiple languages and cultures. Our cutting-edge approaches and AI have helped hundreds of businesses worldwide enhance their customer engagement. ConnexAI is committed to innovation, creativity, and growth, which is why we attract and develop the best talent. Join us in shaping the future of customer experience.

    The Role

We're looking for committed, detail-oriented, and linguistically sharp Spanish-speaking individuals to join our growing team in Data Annotation. You'll work on-site (Monday to Friday) at our Manchester office to maintain high standards of data security and confidentiality.

As an AI Data Annotator, you will:

    • Create, review, and refine high-quality Spanish speech and text datasets for training and evaluating cutting-edge AI models.
    • Correct and assess machine-generated outputs, helping improve the performance of ASR, TTS, LLM, and other language technologies.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks and peer reviews, ensuring annotation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
    • Identify and escalate data quality issues, edge cases, and annotation ambiguities, contributing to continuous process improvement.
    • Work closely with Data Scientists and within Data Operations to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable datasets for global AI initiatives.

    What We're Looking For

    • Fluent Spanish language skills are essential, with excellent written and spoken Spanish.
    • Exceptional attention to detail - you can spot inconsistencies and anomalies in text and audio.
    • Experience with audio transcription, annotation, or similar tasks is highly desirable.
    • Ability to work efficiently with in-house data labelling tools and meet deadlines/KPIs.
    • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and long periods of focused work.
    • Strong linguistic or cultural knowledge, and passionate about AI, language, and the role data plays in model development.
    • Must be able to work on-site in Manchester 5 days a week.

    Why ConnexAI?

    • Work on meaningful AI projects that power the next generation of voice and language technology.
    • Be part of a collaborative, expert-led team with a strong culture of learning and growth.
    • Enjoy the buzz of working in an innovative, truly global AI company.
    • Gain exposure to cutting-edge AI development across our products.
