How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Townhouse was created with a single goal: to disrupt and reinvent the global nail salon industry. We are the fastest growing beauty brand in Europe with 40+ salons globally, and we are driven by a passionate and disruptive team to achieve our mission. We’ve brought together a world-class team from a wide range of industries. As we continue to expand, we need brilliant people (like you!) to help bring the Townhouse brand to life across the world.

    Our values

    Here at Townhouse, we live by our three core values;

    -Details matter

    -Passionate in everything we do

    -Nice people

Townhouse was born out of the idea that ‘details matter’ - our customers strive for perfection in the details, and so do we. Our passion fuels our work and drives constant innovation. Finally, we pride ourselves on finding nice, kind-hearted people to join our mission to revolutionise the industry.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a proactive, curious and detail-driven People Advisor to join our growing People team at Townhouse on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support our People operations across both Support Centre and salons, helping ensure our systems, processes and employee experience continue to evolve as we scale globally.

Reporting into the Head of People, this role offers real development opportunity. You’ll build your advisory capability, strengthen your commercial understanding and take ownership across a broad range of People activities.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical guidance across People policies, processes and employee relations matters.
    • Support and deliver core People activities including performance reviews, 360 feedback, engagement surveys, absence management and employee lifecycle processes.
    • Own and maintain People data and reporting through Employment Hero, using insights to identify trends and support decision making.
    • Partner with salon and Support Centre leaders to build people capability and drive consistency across the business.
    • Identify and implement improvements to People systems, processes and projects to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
    • Support wider People initiatives and contribute to reporting and projects that enable business growth, including franchise support and leadership reporting.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Previous experience within a HR or People role, ideally in a fast-paced, customer-facing or multi-site environment.
    • Confident supporting managers with day-to-day people matters and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
    • Strong attention to detail with experience working with People systems and HR data.
    • Organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
    • Curious, proactive and eager to continuously improve ways of working.
    • Collaborative, approachable and excited by the opportunity to grow your career within the People function.
    • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards) is beneficial but not essential.

    LOCATION

This is a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract role based at our Support Centre in Central London, and we offer a hybrid working model, aligned with role requirements.

    EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
