How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Summary:


    Join our HSE Internship and gain hands-on experience within a global organisation. You’ll support the analysis and reporting of Health, Safety & Environment performance, helping drive improvements through data-led insights.


    This is a great opportunity for someone analytical, proactive, and keen to learn. You’ll build experience in both office-based work and practical workshop environments, giving you a well-rounded understanding of how HSE operates in a real-world setting.


    Essential Responsibilities and Duties:


    • Analyze and report HSE data using internal systems to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain HSE dashboards and visualizations to track key indicators and drive improvement actions.
    • Support onboarding of HSE-critical suppliers and contractors in collaboration with Supply Chain and HR.
    • Comply with and promote SLB OneSubsea HSE standards and procedures.
    • Ensure accurate and timely HSE reporting in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
    • Maintain and administer HSE records and documentation.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
    • Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate) is an advantage.
    • Fluent in English with strong Digital and IT skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus).
    • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
