As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Slough, you'll work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, providing personalised support that enables every pupil to achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils with PMLD, complex learning needs and physical disabilities throughout the school day.
* Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning and care plans.
* Assist with communication, sensory activities and engaging learning experiences.
* Support pupils with personal care, mobility and medical needs where required (training can be provided).
* Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued and confident.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families to provide outstanding care and education.
The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Care Worker, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
* Experience supporting children or adults with PMLD, complex needs, autism, physical disabilities or additional learning needs.
* A calm, compassionate and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
