How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Data Centre experience is Essential

    Our client, a prominent player in the Energy and Data Centre sectors, is currently seeking experienced a talented Planner to join their high-performing project team in London. If you enjoy working on high-profile Data Centre projects with blue-chip clients in a stimulating environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of Data Centre construction projects.
    Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to create project plans that align with client expectations and project deadlines.
    Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or roadblocks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials and resources.
    Conduct site visits to assess project progress and update project schedules accordingly.
    Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
    Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential conflicts or risks.

    Job Requirements:

    Experience in project planning within the Data Centre construction industry (CSA).
    Proficiency in using Primavera P6, Asta, and Microsoft Project.
    Strong understanding of Earned Value Methodology and scheduling for NEC contracts.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
