How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Leeds Office | Full Time | Monday to Friday | 40 Hours per Week Salary

    About the Role
    We are seeking a driven and proactive Installation Scheduler to join a fast-growing planning team. This role plays a key part in supporting engineers and customers by ensuring installation diaries are effectively managed and scheduling issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
    You will be at the centre of day-to-day operational coordination, helping to ensure installations run smoothly, customers are kept informed, and engineers are fully supported in delivering a high-quality service.
    What You'll Be Doing
    * Support engineers with diary management and daily workload planning.
    * Communicate clearly with engineers and customers, providing updates, reassurance, and solutions.
    * Monitor, identify, and resolve scheduling and planning issues in real time.
    * Ensure jobs are allocated efficiently and changes are managed effectively.
    * Build strong working relationships with engineers, customers, and internal teams.
    * React quickly to operational challenges and help maintain smooth service delivery.
    * Use systems and software to manage scheduling activities and updates.
    * Maintain accurate records and ensure all planning information is kept up to date.
    * Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
    To be successful in this role, you will have:
    * Strong customer service experience with a focus on positive outcomes.
    * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    * Confidence dealing with customers and engineers in a fast-paced environment.
    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
    * IT literate, with experience using Microsoft or Google-based systems.
    * Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
