How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client, a major US hedge fund, is looking to hire a Global HR Business Partner to support their expanding EMEA Investment & Sales teams.

Reporting into a London based Director and working directly with heads of trading, investment research and sales teams on a global, firmwide level, the hire will take ownership of all non-US investment business lines as the dedicated Business Partner managing HR processes, policy development and roll out and ensuring that people strategy is aligned with wider business growth objectives. The firm is looking for a strong HR professional that can leverage their hands-on skillset to drive processes including complex compensation management, performance management and talent retention as well as internal mobility, whilst also acting as a trusted partner to investment managers that are looking to expand and diversify their asset class coverage. The hire will also play a key role in managing firm’s SMCR and other HR regulatory requirements pertaining to investment professionals.

The successful candidate will have experience as a HR Business Partner at a leading asset manager, hedge fund or investment bank, supporting similar functions and will have supported these teams across all areas of the employee lifecycle as well as taking ownership of HR strategic delivery during times of growth. Candidates must also have experience delivering/owning SMCR requirements and working with a growing client group.

This is a business-critical hire so the role has scope to pay the successful hire a very attractive step up on their current base salary. In addition, a strong performer will earn a large % of this number, likely up to a £250k TC initially. The firm will also buyout 2026 bonuses.
