We're looking for an enthusiastic Internal Recruiter to join our growing team and play a key role in attracting, engaging and securing top talent to support our continued expansion across the UK and Europe.
📋 Essential Duties & Responsibilities
🌟 General
- Support the business's Recruitment Strategy.
- Develop a knowledge of business requirements to identify suitable candidates for each opportunity.
- Identify and sign off vacancies with Hiring Managers.
- Track recruitment data metrics and ensure transparent updates.
- Manage resource tools including job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn, as well as supplier relationships.
- Be flexible, within reason, in terms of hours of work to suit the needs of the business.
- Resource planning – facilitate resource meetings across the business, ensuring minutes are taken and distributed.
💼 LinkedIn / Indeed
- Publish current live vacancies across job boards, ensuring that job advertisements have been reviewed.
- Review and shortlist applicants that have applied via LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Undertake initial telephone interviews with potential candidates, including briefing them on our interview process and managing expectations effectively.
🤝 Interviews & Onboarding
- Ensure all relevant paperwork has been completed and filed ahead of the interview stage, including application forms and GDPR documentation.
- Create diary invites for interviews, ensuring suitable meeting rooms are booked for in-person interviews.
- Conduct interviews alongside Directors and Line Managers.
- Ensure that the recruitment tracker is maintained and updated in a timely manner.
- Create and issue offer letters with approval from the Hiring Manager and HR.
🎯 Knowledge & Skills Required
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Ability to always act with confidentiality, integrity and discretion.
- Personable, approachable and adaptable.
- Ability to function in a high-pressure environment whilst working to deadlines.
- Starting to build and manage professional relationships with a variety of personality types, including senior leadership and fellow colleagues.
- Experience using Workday is advantageous.
🎓 Preferred Education & Experience
- Good experience in recruitment, ideally as an in-house recruiter or similar.
- Good understanding of the full lifecycle / 360 recruitment process.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of seniority.
- Experience building relationships both internally and externally.
- Good understanding of HR processes.
- Sound knowledge of the Construction Sector is preferred.
